I want to organize my coupons by catagory. However I can't think of a good way to catagorize them. I get so many catagories it becomes impossible to find anything. Right now I have them alphabetized but that's not working for me. Can any provide their list or a good website to look for one. TIA

I have mine in an "acorian holder" and I do mine like "Drinks, Frozen, Pet, Baby, Medicines, Bath, Seasonings/Sauces, Etc...that works pretty good for me, and before each trip to the store I take out the coupons I know I will use for what Im getting & put them in front so I don't have to dig at the store then as I'm shopping its much easier to check coupons as well...good luck!

What kind of acordian holder do you use? I have tried so many different ways of storing coupons that I gave up. I like this idea, but I can't find one that works for me.

I am a coupon mod so I have LOTS of coupons, I use envelopes in a shoe box and catergorize them by cleaning, food, Misc, pet foods, and H&B. I then go through them when doing my grocery list in an empty envelope!

I have mine categorized into health and beauty, household, pets, baby, miscellaneous, meat, fruits and vegetables, dairy, frozen, dry grocery, condiments, baking supplies, snacks, canned. This has been what works best for me so far.

I got mine at Walmart its in the same area as like envelopes, day planners, etc...they have 2 sizes a shorter one & longer one, it really depends how much coupons you plan to use/store to which size you get. I use a small one for my own personal coupons, and I use a larger one to store & sort the coupons I have for trade!

I use an acordian file (envelope size) and have them catagorized my aisle in my grocery store. When I cut coupons I just stack them on the table by catagory (frozen, canned, baby, pet, etc) so it makes loading my organizer easier. My 3 year old even helps me when I take out my expired coupons. He loves playing with them, looking at the letters and numbers and familiar products in the picture. We usually make it a game and sort them.
