Attention East Coast shoppers. Make sure you read the Consumer News by Mary Ellen Burris in this weeks Wegmans circular or on-line.

Basically there are only two restrictions:
- FREE coupons are not accepted. To minimize checker uncertainty the word FREE can't appear on the coupon.
- Electronic coupon value (or the double value) may not exceed the value of the item being purchased; the same as for other coupons.

To avoid confusion, it's recommended you print or clip Burris' column and keep it in your coupon holder.

As an aside - have you had any coupons print on the back of your Wegman's receipt? I just got some the other day.

Wegmans is such a nice store it's like a market place, but their prices aren't wallet friendly compared to my Superfresh.

Interesting I have not noticed coupons on the back of my receipts. I haven't been shopping there for a few weeks because I've been getting better deals elsewhere.

However, I think they have the best fresh fish and plan on going there tomorrow to buy some so I will definetly look at the back of my receipt!

(I also like there chickens for roasting when they were $0.79/lb.)
