Put a crock pot roast in the crock pot with a can of Pepsi. the carbonation makes it extra tender.

Yummy, that sounds really good. We had ham for Christmas dinner that my Grammy made, she cooked it w/ Coke and it was also very good.

Wow! What a novel idea! I've got to think the caramel flavoring in it gives a little bit of that taste. Now I want to try it!

We also make it like that. I have used diet soda and it turned out just as yummy. What I do is when the roast is finished, I shred it with a fork and serve on crusty rolls with some cheese and the juices. YUMMY!

My sister-in-law gave me a recipe similar except you also add a packet of dry onion soup mix and a can of mushroom soup in addition to the can of Coke or Pepsi. It makes a nice gravy which can be a nice addition.

I'm so glad I ran across this today. I actually have a crockpot roast on the menu for tomorrow's dinner and I am going to try this. Thanks!
