Crock Pot Ribs

Season the ribs with LAWRY'S salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Cut the slab into sections of about 3 ribs each, then toss it in the crockpot.
Cook on high for about an hour, then switch it to low and cook it all day.
About 30 mins before it's time to eat, I take the ribs out of the crock, and I put them on a baking sheet (foil lined!) and brush them with BBQ sauce.
Put them in a hot oven, 400. Bake for about 7 mins on each side. To crisp the sauce.

Had these for the first time this week - DELISH!

The ribs go in the crockpot and nothing else? No liquid?

Didn't someone else post a rib in the crockpot recipe too? If they did I can't find it. I think it was here.

This was originally my posted recipe, and I think Ksmom was kind enough to copy/paste from the old board (thank you!). & no, you do NOT need to add any liquids to the ribs - they ARE delish, and we now ONLY make ribs this way now. In fact, we'll be having some on Sat night! Can't WAIT!

& For the record, you CAN also transfer them onto your grill instead of in the oven - you just have to handle them very gently, as the meat just falls off the bone.

Would six hours be long enough to cook them?

I posted one, here's the link to the thread:

Maple Country style ribs

it is titled: maple country style ribs

I did end up having them and they were soooo yummy. the kids loved them. nice sweet flavor. they cook entirely in the crock pot which I liked best. I served with rice.
