In crockpot add approx 1 1/2 lbs chicken (I use boneless skinless breasts or tenderloins)
1 cube margarine
1 packet dry Italian Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup water-I usually add a tad more

Cook in Crockpot on high 4 hours or low longer ( I usually do low 6 hours or so)

Add during last hour of cooking:
1 can cream of chicken and mushroom soup
8 oz lower fat cream cheese, cut up

*Stir Mixture well, you may need to stir again before serving

SERVE OVER RICE

ENJOY!

I have a dumb question, how much is a cube of margarine?

This looks yummy. I like the Creamy Ranch Chicken Recipe and this looks very similar but a nice variation. Thanks for sharing

For real? A whole stick of butter? I can't imagine that it would need that much. I haven't cooked this recipe - it sounds yummy and I love cream cheese - but skimommy I bet you could use WAY less butter and it would still be rich and tasty. JMO!

There is no way I would use an entire stick of butter, I was thinking a cube was a tablespoon, that is why I asked. I will coat the chicken with my Misto and not use any butter.
