Crockpot Cream Cheese Chicken

In crockpot add approx 1 1/2 lbs chicken (I use boneless skinless breasts or tenderloins)
1 cube margarine
1 packet dry Italian Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup water-I usually add a tad more

Cook in Crockpot on high 4 hours or low longer ( I usually do low 6 hours or so)

Add during last hour of cooking:
1 can cream of chicken and mushroom soup
8 oz lower fat cream cheese, cut up

*Stir Mixture well, you may need to stir again before serving

SERVE OVER RICE

ENJOY!

I love this stuff. I just always put in the chicken and then mix the rest of the stuff together and pour on top and cook on low all day. I also add fresh mushrooms to it when I have them.

Sounds delicious. I've cooked chicken in cream of mushroom soup before, but never thought of adding cream cheese.

I do add cream cheese to my green bean casserole, though.

I'm making this tonight, it sounds great!! I'm thinking of adding some veggies at the end and serving it over pasta.
