I put a drop of dish soap and put hot water in it. put lid on and let it sit. It will steam itself. sometimes I put it back in the pot and turn it on low and speed up the process. don't forget to let it cool b4 the final wash.

I do like some others do here. After dinner I put some dish soap and hot water and let it sit over night and wash it in the morning. It comes out clean and easy to wipe down after sitting.I don't mind since I don't have to scrub at it.

I didn't even know they made crock pot liners. We've just cleaned it by hand the old fashioned way. I wish we could get one with a removable inside like they make now.

I just got a crock pot about a month ago, mine must be non-stick or something b/c I just have to rinse it out. I pull the pot off the base, rinse and wipe it out with a non-scratching sponge.

I just stick it in the dishwasher. I've never had a problem with it getting clean.

I have never had a problem with it staining. I wonder why yours is... With it soaking in hot water, I usually do not have any problems..

I haven't tried the liners yet. Are they really so wonderful?

Yea, I usually let mine soak a day or even 2 and then put in dishwasher, never had to really scrub that way. Lucky I guess!

I soak mine in water first.. That always helps. I haven't used the liners yet, but will have to invest in them with all the good reviews. I also spray with cooling spray.
