In your search engine type in the kind of bread machine you have and then put recipes on the end and it will come up with all kinds of recipe for you.I had to do that with mine.I got it at a second hand store and it did not come with a book.

CINN RAISIN BREAD

3/4 cup warm water
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon margarine
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons dry milk powder
2 tablespoons white sugar
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 cup raisins

Place warm water, egg, butter or margarine, flour, powdered milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and yeast into the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Start the machine.
After the first rise, add the cranraisins. Continue baking.
( like to put my raisins in right at the starts-kinda shreds up a little and makes for a better bread I think)

AMISH BREAD

2 3/4 cups bread flour
1/4 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
18 tablespoons warm water

Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select White Bread cycle; press Start.
When the dough has raised once and second cycle of kneading begins, turn machine off. Reset by pressing Start once again. This gives the dough two full raising cycles before the final raising cycle prior to baking.

White Bread

1 cup water
1 extra large egg, beaten
2 tablespoons dry milk powder
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 cup bread flour
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Place ingredients in order suggested by your manufacturer.
Select basic bread setting, normal crust.

These are 3 that ALWAYS turn out perfect for me.

I made this and it came out gooey in the middle. What did I do wrong? How can I still use the bread???

hhhmmmm.....Ive never had that problem w/that recipe....

one thing about bread machines...they can be testy...make sure you have them away from any drafts and such.....

if you have this problem alot...like say you try other recipes and these results start looking like the norm....try doing the dough in the machine and then baking in the oven in reg loaf pans....some people like the look of that better.....

another tip...again if this happens alot.....when youre about 15 min from being done...heat up the oven then toss it...still in the pan and all in the oven for an extra 10-15-20 min depending on your degree of "gooey".

I know that NOONE likes tossing a batch of ANYTHING in the trash...and have really only posted the bread machine recipes that I have NEVER had a problem with.

So I am sincerely sorry to hear about your loaf......

you could try a lil extra bake time in the oven......and also...check all the dates on your yeast and stuff.
