Crock Pot BBQ Sauce

1 (28oz) bottle ketchup
1 (12 oz) beer
1 small onion, diced
1 1/2 cs dark brown sugar
1/2 c prepared mustard
3 tablespoons barbeque seasoning
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder

In cooker, combine all and simmer on low setting for 12 hours or overnight.

I never would have thought of making BBQ Sauce in the crock pot!! Sounds good!

THANK YOU!!!! I have been trying to find a bbq sauce without corn syrup, we can't live without the stuff (and it's really hard to find!) I'll have to try it! I bet I can add some red pepper flakes to it too, to make it spicy

I figured someone could use it- which is why I bumped it up. If you do the sauce, let me know how it turns out. Im very interested in making it, and would like your input on how it was.
