I made this today for dinner and it is still one of my favorites.

1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 can of cola

I put cut up carrots in the bottom of the crock pot and then add the roast on top with mushrooms and onions around and on top. I mix the soup mix with a can of cola (I use regular but I'm sure diet would work, try not to add too much though as it can be too sweet, normally around 12oz is perfect) I cook on low about 10hrs or so. I made mashed potatoes tonight with it (but you can also add small potatoes to the crock) and made gravy with the juice from the crock. Yum.
