I know! I MUST be crazy!!

It's not for lack of WANTING one though, I just haven't been able to scrape up enough dough to buy a new one....they're around $15-35 at (the dreaded) Walmart here.

I found two of them at the thrift store a while back. One was $6, and the other was $9...but just didn't have the $ at the time. And once I DID, I went back and they were LONG GONE!

I'm saving my pennies for one though!
Can't stand having to heat up my house this summer with the oven!

And I want TWO of them. A smaller one for casseroles (for some of the deserts I now know you can make in them!), and a larger (oval) one for chicken, ham, roasts, etc.

Does anyone know if they go on sale around the holidays? Or are the prices jacked up aroung that time of the year?

Made this for the family this week. I have been sticking with crock pot cooking since the baby was born. They all loved it. DH has already requested it again.
