My friend told me about this. I thought...duh!
You just take boneless chicken that is thawed and place it in the crockpot. Smother it with a good barbeque sauce and cook for the day. The chicken is done in about 6 hours, but if you just leave it up to ten hours, it just pulls apart easier.
Take a fork and pull it apart to place on hamburger buns. We add a little cheddar cheese on the meat, and it was very tasty! I think the key is using a well flavored sauce.

We do this too.

We use frozen chicken tenderloins and cover with some Sweet Baby Rays Barbeque sauce. Then we take frozen ears of corn (not full size, but half size or smaller) and wrap them in aluminum foil and put it on top of the chicken/sauce. Cook on low for the day. (We usually put it on around 7am and then eat it at 6pm)

Just unwrap the corn and then pull the chicken and place on buns!

I use Dinosaur BBQ (it might be a local sauce.) What I mean by good sauce is that it has a good mix of spices and rich flavor. Some sauces are just a standard basic recipe that can be a little bland.

I'm sorry to hear that your chicken didn't turn out good. I feel badly for you. I have never made it with frozen, but I wouldn't have hesitated to use frozen... What was bad about it? Did it stick to the bottom of your crockpot? Was it the taste? I'm sure we can figure this out...

Yeah, I'm sorry it didn't work well either. I've never cooked it for that short amount of time and I only use tenderloins, so they probably de-frost pretty quick.

What was wrong with it?

I am not sure if it was becasue I cooked it on high or if it was the fact they were frozen! I will have to try thawed and low and see how that works
