This Will Get You Ready For Fall Weather!!

5 Small Onions, Thinly Sliced
2 Cans {14 Oz.} Low Sodium Beef Broth
2 Cans {10 Oz.} Beef Consomme
1 Pkt. Onion Soup Mix
8 Slices French Bread
1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, Or Swiss, Any Cheese Will Work....

Combine Onions, Broth, Consomme And Soup Mix In Slow Cooker. Cook On High Setting For 4 Hours, Or Low For 8 Hours. Ladle Soup Into Serving Bowls. Top With Slice Of French Bread. Sprinkle 2 Tablespoons Cheese Over Each Bread Slice. Put Under Broiler. Broil Until Cheese Is Melted.

Is this a thick soup,Broth?I have always wondered.I have looked in stores for this before and have never found it........This sounds like a great recipe!

It's like a really thick broth....Campbell's is the brand that I buy. I found mine at the Walmart SuperCenter, by the soups. It gives the soups a real "meaty" taste.
