Crock Pot Chocolate-almond Fondue

YOU DON'T NEED A FONDUE POT TO MAKE THIS!!
2 {7 OZ.} MILK CHOCOLATE BARS, BROKEN INTO PIECES
3 OZ. WHITE BAKING BAR, CHOPPED
1 {7 OZ.} JAR MARSHMALLOW CREAM
3/4 CUP WHIPPING CREAM, HALF AND HALF, OR LIGHT CREAM
1/4 CUP FINELY CHOPPED ALMONDS, TOASTED
3 TABLESPOONS AMARETTO {OPTIONAL} {I have never used amaretto before, I think I may try substituting almond extract for this}
POUNDCAKE CUBES
ASSORTED FRUIT
IN A 3 1/2-4 QUART SLOW COOKER, COMBINE MILK CHOCOLATE, WHITE BAKING BAR, MARSHMALLOW CREAM, CREAM, AND ALMONDS.
COVER; COOK ON LOW-HEAT SETTING FOR 2 TO 2 1/2 HOURS, OR UNTIL CHOCOLATE MELTS, STIRRING ONCE. STIR UNTIL SMOOTH. IF DESIRED, STIR IN FLAVORING {AMARETTO, ALMOND EXTRACT}
TO SERVE, SPEAR CAKE CUBES OR FRUIT WITH FONDUE FORKS; DIP INTO CHOCOLATE MIXTURE.
