Phillipine Chicken

This is one of my very fav's! I love phillipine food!




Ingredients & Directions

6 Chicken Breasts -- can be frozen

1 cup Water ( if using frozen meat reduce water to 3/4 cup)

1/2 cup Vinegar

1/4 cup Soy sauce

2 Garlic cloves -- chopped

1 cup onion chopped

Aout the last hour or so i sometimes add about 1/2 cup of chopped up celery

Put in crockpot. Cook for 6 to 8 hrs on LOW. Serve over cooked rice.( i use jasimine)
Use 1 chicken, cut up if preferred.

I make something similar to this, only I add about 1/8 cup vinegar and usually use balsalmic. Also, use a couple of pinches of ground or a chunk of ginger and a bay leaf. Tasty~Tasty!! Spoon sauce and chicken over rice. This is a good way to use up thighs or legs if you cant afford breasts, kids love this too!!
