D.h. wanted beans and keilbasa for supper tonight and it's in the crock pot. Does anyone else ever do this? We once had it at a family get together and it was really good. I also have a recipe for Island Keilbasa that's cooked in the crockpot I'll have to find. I've gotten compliments on that but it wasn't my original recipe. I found it on the internet.

would you mind posting your recipe for the Keibasa & beans? I have been wanting to try it but am not sure what all goes in. Do you use red/pinto beans?

thanks

Actually I confess I don't have luck with dried beans. We used canned like B and M.

I've never done the kielbasa in the crock pot with the beans, but we do have kielbasa with beans on the side quite often.

I would also be interested in the Island Kielbasa if you ever have a chance to post it

Kelli here is a link for the recipe for Island Kielbasa. I've brought it to family cookouts and get compliments on it. I think my d.h. would spoon off the top before serving if it looked greasy. Island Kielbasa in a Slow Cooker - Allrecipes
