I just soak mine in hot water and everything just comes right off.

I use my crockpot with or without the liners....I like the liners, but if I'm out...it's not that hard to clean...you can put 1/2 cup baking soda in the crock, add water to above the dried/burnt food line, and turn on to heat....then just wipe it clean.

I always forget I have the bags! Love them though when I do use them! I have the ceramic thing that comes out and I just put dishsoap and hot water in it and let it soak overnight
