Has anyone tried those Reynold's bags? I got a free sample and I just now remembered to try it out. I hope it works because I hate cleaning the crock pot. Of course, I'm sure the bags are so expensive I'll never buy them anyway.

Does anyone have any tips for making the crock pot less difficult to clean? I've tried Pam, but it didn't work very well.

When we have our big Marching Band festival each year, I help out with the concessions and we use the Reynold's bags and we put nacho cheese in it. We really liked using them 'cause then you didn't have all that burnt cheese to try and get off. My SIL uses them all the time and loves them, me myself I have used them on occassion when I remember that I have them.
They do save with clean up just have to make sure that you don't use sharp utensils inside the crock, otherwise they don't serve the purpose.

Doesn't it have a ceramic part that comes out to clean? I just put mine in the dishwasher and it comes out beautifully.

I usually put a few drops of detergent in there and fill it up with hot water and turn it on high for awhile. It helps loosen all of the food that is stuck to the sides.

Mine is non-stick and the pot comes out to wash quick and easy. If you have an older model that is hard it would probably be cheaper for you to buy a new one on sale instead of buying those bags all the time!!

I have never bought the bags, but I've gotten several free sample and cannot tell a lie...I love those things. I HATE cleaning the crock pot and I personally think the small amt they cost would be worth it to me. I don't use my crock pot that much, but if I did I'd probably buy them.

I use the reynolds bags and LOVE them! You get 4 in a box for less than $2 and it is soooo worth it for me!!! I won't use my crockpot if I've run out of bags!

The bags are well worth it to me too. It seemed odd at first but I use them all of the time now.
