ARE YOU READY!!!



Two more days till the crop begins! I am breaking a sweat trying to wind down the final rules and challenges!

Not really it's all good.


So I wanted to post the rules and use this as a Question and Answer thread. I am changing it so I hate to see the crop start and have you all stumped about what to do. Luckily for us it is a week long and gives us some time to play with it! Please ask as many questions as needed for the rules. Like I said I am trying this out to see how it works. There are always going to be kinks that can be worked out!

So here we go.......


Rules:
1. Only posted projects count toward points.
2. Each challenge can be completed TWICE for points (on separate LOs). Feel free to post more than 2 LOs in the challenge thread, but only the first two posted earn the extra challenge points.
3. Each layout/card/project can only be used once for points.
4. Unless a challenge states otherwise, only brand new layouts/cards/projects created from the beginning during the crop, count toward points.
5. When completing a layout/card/project, you are responsible for adding up how many points it is worth - state the points, and any challenges that it meets in your post.
6. You are also in charge of keeping track of your running total of points. Post in the points thread, edit your ORIGINAL post to update total. This includes adding in points you earn for LOs/cards/projects completed, and any other bonus points you receive. For every 5 points you earn, you will receive one [virtual] ticket into the random drawing that will take place at the end of the crop. One winner will be drawn and will be named our designated Crop Queen!
7. Be on the lookout for extra challenges and surprises throughout the crop!
8. Have fun!!!!!

Point system is as follows.

Point System:
Complete a 8.5x11, 9x9, or 12x12 Layout: 3 pts
Complete a 6x6 or 8x8 (or other small) Layout: 2 pts
Complete an altered item: 2 pts
Complete a Greeting Card: 1 pt
Complete a "blank" LO, any size: 1 pt



I am still finalizing the challenges and am not sure on how many or the total point count. But there will be prizes for the most points, Queen of the Crop (and maybe a princess too!), games, and chit chat too. This is going to be a mixture of whatever you want to make, page, card or altered project. You make it , it will be fair game! I will be posting all the challenges on Sunday with the exception of a special on each day of the crop. Games and such will be sporadic.

WOW-I am excited. #5 rule-do we post the points INSIDE the post with the project/layout/card or is there going to be a special thread you make (where we all have one post each-that we keep editing?)

Will there be a voting challenge-if so are points involved or no?

I haven't thought about the voting challenge it might be on the line up...not sure how it would work yet.
