I got this in the Sunday paper with the coupons.
Philly Oreo Cheesecake
Prep time: 20 minutes plus
Cook time: 45 minutes
Refrigeration time: 4 hours or overnight
Makes 16 servings, 1 piece each
1 package (1 lb. 2 oz) Oreo sandwhich cookies divided
¼ cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
4 packages (8 oz each) Philadelphia Cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1. preheat overn to 325 degrees.
2. Place 30 cookies in food processor; cover & process 30 – 45 seconds or until finely ground. Add butter, mix well. Press onto bottom of foil-lined 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in large bowl w/ electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add sour cream, mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until blended after each addition. Chop remaining cookies. Gently stir 1 & ½ cups of the chopped cookies into cream cheese batter. Pour over crust; sprinkle remaining chopped cookies on top.
4. Bake 45 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Cut into 16 pieces. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
