1 lb. butter, soft
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla or almond
3 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 1/2 c. crumbled potato chips

Cream butter with sugar; add vanilla; add flour. Mix and blend together the nuts and potato chips. Fold into mixture. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

***You can also add chocolate or white chocolate chips or raisins

Actually, they were big sellers in the cafe. The chips are not that noticable. It is a good way to get rid of stale chips.

If you put chocolate chips, everyone would just call it a chocolate chip cookie.
