When I was a teenager I found a recipe in a library book for "easy chocolate crackles made with choc. cake mix. I've long lost the recipe but would love to have it if anyone out there knows what I'm talking about. TIA crossing my fingers.

Peanut Butter Blossoms

1 yellow cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
½ cup water
1 large egg
1 ¼ cups peanut butter
Hershey’s Kisses (unwrapped)

Mix in order given (except kisses). *Roll into walnut size balls and place on cookie sheet. *Roll in granulated sugar and/or cross with fork to flatten. *Bake at 325 for 8-10 minutes (they won't spread out much). *Remove from oven and press a Hershey Kiss into middle of each cookie. *Let cool until kisses are firm and store in an airtight container. *

This is such a quick and simple cookie! *And so very moist! *You can also put *the balls into a mini muffin pan to bake. *When they come out of oven press a miniature Reese’s cup into each one.
I made this one today. Yumm-O!!!!!!!

On this recipe, does the sugar and cinnamon go in the batter or can you roll the dough balls in it?
