Okay here is one of the easiest desserts you can make and everyone will love it!!!!

6-12 ice cream sandwiches
1 (8 ounce) Cool Whip
chocolate syrup (to taste)
1 butterfinger candy bar

Line a pan with ice cream sandwiches.
Spread cool whip over the ice cream sandwiches.
Pour chololate syrup over that to your taste, all depends on how much chololate.
Crush up a butterfinger and sprinkle over the top of the cake

I use a 9 X 13 pan. Pop this in the freezer for about 30 - 40 minutes and you have a fantastic and easy dessert!!!

I make this in individual servings for myself sometimes (think 1 ice cream bar at a time) and I also love it with malted milk balls crushed on top.

Thanks for reminding me about this recipe. We're having a gathering at our house for Easter and I think I will make a big batch.

This is truly a lovely dessert. When you cut into it, all the layers show and it looks like a complicated creation. And it tastes great, too!

We experiment with different add-ins. You don't have to use the Butterfingers. You can use broken toffee candies, mints, salted nuts, etc. Also, instead of the chocolate sauce, we use fudge sauce (it is thicker) and carmel. I like carmel. I have yet to use a fruit topping (strawberry preserves, pineapple, etc) but I might have to try that, too.

I made this on Sunday. Very easy! I added chocolate & caramel syrup along with the butterfinger bar on top. It looked like something you buy at the store!
