1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c sugar
1/3 c peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
16 peanut butter cup miniatures, cut into fourths

Heat oven 350. Beat butter,sugar, and peanut butter till creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to butter mixture; blend well. Drop onto baking sheet. (space apart, they spread as they bake). Push pieces of peanut butter cups into each cookie. Bake 15-17 minutes or till light golden brown around the edges. Centers will be pale and slightly soft. Cool 1 minute on sheet. Remove to rack to cool completely
