Your New Fave Choc Cake (trust me)

When it comes to choc cake....and I'm talking just a basic choc cake...this is the ONLY WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll love it.........promise...




3 cs packed brown sugar
1 c margarine, softened
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 2/3 c flour
3/4 c baking cocoa
1 Tbs baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/3 c sour cream
1 1/3 c boiling water

FROSTING:
1/2 c butter or margarine
3 (1oz)squares unsweetened chocolate
3 (1oz)squares semisweet chocolate
5 c powdered sugar
1 c sour cream
2 tsp vanilla extract

Cream brown sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time, beat well after each addition-beat on high til light and fluffy.
Blend in vanilla.

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture.

Mix on low just til combined.

Stir in water til blended.

Pour into three greased and floured 9-in. round baking pans.
Bake at 350 35 minutes.
Cool in pans 10 minutes,put on wire racks to cool completely.

FROSTING

In saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Cool.
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, sour cream and vanilla.
Add chocolate and beat til smooth. Frost cooled cake.

Wow, another amazing recipe. This one does sound good, but to me there is never a time when chocolate cake doesnt sound good. I am sure that this is as great a recipe as all the others.
