I tried this recipe last night....it is SOOO good!!!

1 bag of thin pretzels
1/2 lb butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 12 oz bag of chocolate chips (I prefer milk chocolate)
chopped nuts


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line pan with aluminum foil. Place layer of pretzels in pan. Melt butter and sugar, pour over pretzels. Bake for 15 min. Sprinkle chocolate chips and bake an additional 2 min. Spread the melteed chocolate chips over the pretzels, sprinkle with nuts. Cover with more foil, and refrigerate until hard, then break into pieces.


This was so yummy. It would be great mixed into vanilla ice cream with hot fudge sauce too!!!

I am keeping a batch in the freezer to pull out when we want a nice sweet snack!!

perfection........dh loves choc cov pretzels......ya helped me use up a bag of choc and some pretzels...in the best possible way!
