My SIL made this last weekend and it is soooooo yummy.

2 cans Cherry pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter

pour the cans of pie filling in to the bottom of a 9 x 13 cake pan. sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top. slice the butter into thin slices & place slices over the dry cake mix & Cherries. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

My mom used to make this only she used 1 can cherry pie, filling mixed with one can crushed pineapple - then top with cake mix and butter then top with chopped pecans. OMG it was soooo gooood! And easy. YUM!

I make this also. We call it Lazy Day Surprise. You can use any kind of pie filling.
