1 Box Butter Pecan Cake Mix
1 Cup Water {the Recipe Calls For Water, But I Would Use Vanilla Soymilk, Regular Whole Milk, Or Apricot Nectar In Place Of The Water......}
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
3 Eggs
1 Can {15.25 Oz.} Apricot Halves, Drained And Chopped {1 Cup}
3/4 Apricot Preserves
1 Container Frosting
15 Pecan Halves Or Pieces
Heat Oven To 350 Degrees. {325 For Dark Or Nonstick} Grease 13x9 Inch Pan With Cooking Spray. In Large Bowl, Beat Cake Mix, Water, Oil, Eggs And Apricots With Electric Mixer On Low Speed 30 Seconds. Beat On Medium Speed 2 Minutes, Scraping Bowl Occasionally. Pour Into Pan. Bake 37-43 Minutes Or Until Toothpick Comes Out Clean. Cool Completely, About 1 Hour. Spread Preserves Over Top Of Cake. Spread Frosting Over Preserves. Garnish With Pecan Halves.
**tip**i Always Add A Box Of Pudding To My Cake Mixes, But It Is Up To You**
