1 c butter
1 (3oz)cream cheese
1 c sugar
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar til light and fluffy.
Add the egg yolk and the vanilla.
Stir in the flour.
Gather the dough into a ball and chill overnight.


Preheat oven to 350.
On lightly floured surface roll to about 3/16 inch.(or whatever thickness ya like)
Cut into shapes and put on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 350 12 min,til edges are lightly browned. Let cool.

Then decorate.

Basically a sugar cookie...but alot cheaper and easier than some recipes and these always turn out for me.
