Ultimate Rum Cake

1 c chopped pecans or walnuts
1 yellow cake mix
1 instant vanilla pudding mix (small box)
4 eggs
1/2 c cold water
1/2 c cooking oil
1/2 c rum
Sprinkle nuts over bottom of greased 12 c bundt pan.
Stir together cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, oil and rum.
Pour batter over nuts.
Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
Cool 10 min in pan.
Invert onto serving plate and prick top w/skewer.
Glaze
1/2 c butter
1/4 c water
1 c sugar
1/2 c rum
Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in water and sugar.
Boil 5 min,stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in rum.
Brush glaze evenly over top and sides of cake.
Allow cake to absorb glaze and repeat til its all used.
OMG.......this is gorgeous and absolutely a sinful holiday treat!!!
