2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 c unsalted butter, room temp
1 c packed light-brown sugar
1 c sugar
1 Tbs pure vanilla extract
3 Tbs milk
2 large eggs
3 c old fashioned oats
12 oz semisweet chocolate(I like Ghiardellis),chopped into chunks
1 1/3 c coarsely chopped pecans
Whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda,set aside.
Mix butter with both sugars,beat til light and fluffy.
Add vanilla, milk, and eggs; mix well.
Add reserved dry ingredients, and beat til just combined.
Fold in oats, chocolate, and pecans.
Place dough in the frige til firm,about 2-3 hours.
Heat oven to 350.
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper, and set aside.
Using a scoop, shape into 2in balls.
Place six balls on each baking sheet,4 in apart, and press down.
Bake 15 to 16 min.
Remove from oven, and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
