1 (12oz)bag whole cranberries
1 c sugar
3/4 c water
1 yellow cake mix
3/4 c butter, melted
2 eggs
1 c rolled oats
3/4 c packed light brown sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
Over med,mix cranberries,sugar, and water. Cook, stirring occasionally til all of the cranberries have popped, and the mix is thick, about 15 min.
Remove from heat, and set aside to cool.
Preheat the oven to 350.
Mix cake mix, melted butter, and eggs. Stir in the oats, brown sugar, ginger and cinnamon. Set aside about 1 1/2 c of the mixture, and spread the rest into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Pat into pan.
Spread the cooled cranberry mix over the crust.
drop by sponfulls the rest of the topping mix all over the top and lightly press down.
Bake for 35 to 40 min,til the top is lightly browned.
Cool in the pan 30-40 min before slicing into bars.
