1 qt oil for frying
1 1/2 c flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/4 c packed brown sugar
3/4 c canned pumpkin puree
1 c milk
3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 c powdered sugar for dusting
Put oil into a deep skillet, and heat to med hot(or deep fryer 375)
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and pumpkin pie spice in a mixing bowl.
Beat the egg, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, and milk together.
Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring til smooth.
Drizzle from a funnel or snipped baggie in to oil and cook til golden brown.
Turn over to cook both sides.
Drain on paper towels. Cool a few min, and dust generously with powdered sugar.
