Strawberry Shortcake
Pre-heat oven to 450.
Combine 2 1/3 cups biscuit & baking mix with 3 T. sugar.Add in 1/2 cup milk and 3 T. melted butter.Stir with a fork to a soft dough.Mix vigorously 20 strokes.Spread into greased 8 inch round pan.Bake 15-20 minutes or unitl done.Top with fruit and serve warm,with whipped cream.
For the Strawberries I take a bag of frozen(thawed and save the juice from these ones) or fresh strawberry as many as you would like.I take them all and slice them into slices.I then take half of them and put them into a seperate bowl I sprinkle sugar over top fo them and mash them until mashed really good and lots of liquid.I then mix the sliced strawberries back in when them and let them sit in the fridge for at least a half hour.Stir when you take them out of the fridge and they are ready to use.
