This is a great cheap recipe. Try it and post what you think
1 9" baked pie crust
1 can of apple pie filling
Apple sauce
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Old fashion rolled oats
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp cold butter, cut into pieces
Okay really easy, Mix flour, sugar, rolled oats, cinnamon, and butter till it makes a nice crumble. Set aside. Put the apple pie filling into the pie crust, then add applesauce ontop, to fill it out alittle, adds more filling and a neat texture. Then add the crumble and bake at 350 for around 25 minutes. That is how long my oven is. Since everything is cooked, all you need to worry about is the crumble. I made this one spring afternoon when I was craving something good, and had no money, but all this in the cabnets, and freezer. Hope you enjoy and let me know how it worked out for you.
