Basic Crumb Topping for Pies or Muffins

1 c brown sugar
1 c flour
1/4 c butter,cubed
Toss flour w/sugar then use for to mix in butter to form crumbs..add to pie or muffins! 
You can also add some finely chopped nuts  |
