Pineapple Bread Pudding

10 slices white bread
3/4 c margarine, melted
5 eggs
1 (20oz)crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 c raisins
1 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 tsp cinnamon
Whipped cream
Place bread on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 4 min,turn and bake 4 min more,til very light brown. Cut into 1in cubes. Toss with melted butter; set aside.
Beat eggs til thick and lemon-colored. Add the pineapple, currants, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Fold in bread cubes.
Pour into a greased 2-1/2-qt. dish. Sprinkle w/cinnamon. Cover and bake at 350 30-35 minu,til bubbly and golden.
Serve warm w/whipped cream.
I found this a while back in a taste of home magazine and it is soooo good!!!
