It's summertime, y'all! Time to get out the summer fruit and make some good ol' cobbler! (A second favorite desert of mine...just like pie, only a different shape. )

Easy Peach Cobbler

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
3 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches (Frozen can also be used.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt stick of butter in a warm 8 X 8-inch casserole dish. Mix together sugar, flour and salt. Add to the butter and stir, adding milk. Lay peaches over batter. Do not stir. Bake for 1 hour. Serves 9.
