I am looking forward to seeing the concert tonight Heard on the radio that Katherine wont be there. Good thing my 5 yrold isn't going he would be disappointed. I am going for Taylor!!!!

On a sad note my dh bought me tickets for our anniversary however he injured his leg and is on crutches so I am taking a girl friend instead.

Calimari, Have they been in Detroit yet? If so did you and your friend catch Taylors bus???

Detroit concert is August 16. I'm trying to figure out how people get passes to the meet & greet before the show. I know, I'm a 14 year old fangirl when it comes to Taylor, and I'm entirely, completely embarassed about it. Thank goodness I'm going to the show w/ my 50 year old friend Rita, who is newly 15 years old.
Kat hasn't performed at any of the shows. She is supposed to return this Friday or Saturday, but a lot of folks have the "I'll believe it when I see it" perspective at this point. They have been doing a group "tribute" song for Kat, with a photo montage of her behind them. Reactions from those who have seen the show indicate that it's sort of creepy when they do that, like she died. I guess enough people booed that they changed the montage to include shots of all the idols. Then I heard they changed it back to the Kat-only montage, so who knows what they are doing.

I'm curious how many songs Taylor will sing. He was doing 8 songs, but the last couple shows he did only 6. I don't think there are any live play-by-plays of the concert on line tonight.

I didnt know they did online concerts!

I will let you know how many Taylor sings tommorow. I assumed that the Cleveland and Detroit dates would be closer considering the cities are close!

My gf is afraid Scott Sabol will make an appearence since he is in Cleveland. YUK I sure hope not! lol

eww - scotty - that would be a nightmare.
There have been several live "play by plays". Someone in the audience with a cell phone giving descriptions to someone at home at a PC on a cell phone. The person on the PC describes what she's hearing (mostly lots of screams, sometimes comments on what she can hear by way of songs) and relays what the person in the audience is telling her (what the singer is wearing, instruments, how audience responds). I've not participated in a live one for more than a few minutes (I don't have 2 hours at home at night to read them) but I have read several of them the next day. Of course, after a while it's like "Mandisa is on....she's dedicating that song to Reuben again....yadda yadda yadda...." They are funny.

Callimari, He did a total of 8 songs. He was great, loved him loved him loved him!

Mandisa dedicated a song to Ruben again.

There was not a single mention of Katherine which was fine by me!

Taylor and Chris seemed to receive more response than the rest but all in all they were all good!

Good - he's back to 8! He started w/ 8, then went to 6. I'm thinking the tour schedule has got to be hard on his voice as he sings more than the others. I also read on some boards that no mention was made of Kat. She was supposedly returning tomorrow, but now they are saying her doctor won't release her for another week. So, still no Kat. I feel bad for folks who bought tix just for her, but I don't mind missing her.

Calimari, Meant to mention the only thing bad about the concert is it takes forever to get to Taylor!
I do feel bad for people that bought tix just to see Katherine! What the heck is wrong with her at this point? Part of me thinks maybe she is a spoil sport. However it will only hurt her in the long run, may turn many of her fans off!

There is a lot of speculation re: Kat - anything from give her a break/she's sick & her doctor won't let her perform, to she just doesn't want to do the tour, to she is suffering a relapse of her bulimia and/or nervous breakdown - I've no idea. I know from the play-by-plays that Taylor is last. If Kat comes back, I know when to take my bathroom break!

My gf said the same if Katherine were in it. She chose to go while Paris was on. She seemed more about dancing than singing!

I know its because there is something I just dont like about Kat but me thinks she doesnt want to do the tour and has lots of excuses.
