Is anyone going to watch this when it comes out next month?

I vaguely remember watching the orginal series when I was a kid so I'm going to give it a try.

oooh oooh!! I saw a quick snip of it and was wondering if it was a remake. I was a BIG V fan when it was first on, (yes I'm a sci-fi geek/freak) so now that I know it's a remake (thank you, thank you) I will definitely watch it!!

I'm so excited! I was joking with my Dad b/c it is premiering on my birthday "Happy Birthday to me!" I saw some episodes of it when I was young, but only 1 or 2 and then when I was in my 20's in was on VHS and I got a chance to watch it.

My Dad still laughs about my mom FREAKING out b/c Walter Cronkite made an "Announcement" on the show, and she thought it was real (Because if Walter Cronkite said so.....)

I loved the original series when I was a kid, so I may watch it. I didn't even know about it until I read your post!

Darn, I meant to set the dvr for my dh as he was looking forward to it Will have to see if it will re-air!

Just finished watching and it definitely had some different twists than the 1980s version. Lots of familiar faces though as folks from some of my other favorite shows (Party of 5, Lost, The 4400, SG-1) over the years appear. Won't spoil it though for those who are not EST. Happy Viewing, and keep your eyes on the set!
