Does anyone have any book recommendations? I am dying to start a new book, but I am having a hard time picking one. I have read the Red Tent and the Other Boleyn Girl recently and I loved them both.

"The Cotton Queen" Pamela Morsi was a good book. I guess it all depends on what types of books you like and what storylines you like. "The Glass Castle" Jeanette Walls was also a good book and a true story.

If you want something light, not too difficult, I LOVED Jennifer Crusie's Bet Me. I have probably read that book 10 times....

Houston we have a problem by Erin McCarthy is a fast read and funny
Tess Gerritsen writes good mystery books
If you like romantic suspense try Sandra Brown, Linda Howard or Karen Rose

Too Funny! As I read the title of your post, I thought "I have to tell her about The Red Tent"!! I loved that book! I just finished "Five Quarters of the Orange" good book once you got into it.

The Poisonwood Bible is one of my favorites. I also loved The Red Tent.

Girl with the Pearl Earring was good.

I just re-read all of the Big Stone Gap books by Adrianna Trigiani. They are great as are all of her books.

The Kite Runner was a great book. Sheds a different light on Afghanistan.

I'm going to have to read Kite Runner, I'm guessing it's true story?

I've just recently read
Inside the Kingdom by Carmen binLaden
Zoya's Story by John Follain & Rita Cristifari
Stolen Lives by Malika Oufkir

All REALLY good books.

I love to read books that are about real life, if anyone has any other suggestions...?? I'm looking for my next book....

I loved The Kite Runner too, it is one of the best books I've ever read! Also, The Education of Little Tree is wonderful!

I read "Little EarthQuakes" a few months ago and it was fantastic. I cannot remember who wrote it, I do know it is the same person that wrote "In Her Shoes". I understand the movie rights to this book has already been purchased. I also just read "Angry Housewives Eating Bon-Bons" FANTASTIC!!!! And last but not least, "Summer Sisters" by Judy Bloome. I like to read "girlfriend" books and that is what all of these are. I laughed and cried!!! Last one - "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" That one was my favorite of all times!!! I just loved the storyline and the history behind it.
