Has anyone seen it yet? It's supposed to be the scariest movie ever.

I've talked to several people who have seen it. One guy walked out because he was too scared to finish it. Another's girlfriend is still having nightmares a week later. And two people slept with their lights on.

NO and I have NO plans on seeing it. I do not watch scary movies anymore. I use to be able to but I cant now. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that dh is gone 85% of the time. I dont need to be having nightmares with just the kids home. And I can guarantee I would get nightmares.

I have heard from friends that it was the scariest movie and I've heard from other friends that it was the dumbest movie...If it's too scary or too dumb I don't want to see it so I guess I'll pass! LOL

I unfortunately spent my hard earned $$ to see it and thought it a flop. The commercial they show is the last few seconds of the movie. I nearly fell asleep several times I was so bored. Not really scary at all. Just a couple holed up in their house taping a few odd experiences. More boring and worse shot than Blair Witch or Cloverfield.. Yawn. Wait until you can get it as a free rental at the Redbox (w/coupon code) Just realize it will still be a waste (of your time).

Are you kidding? I can't even watch Ghost Hunters on cable tv if it's even close to dark outside. The 6th Sense even gave me nightmares and i watched it during the day!

We read & saw good reviews on TV & planned to see it but my niece, who is a big horror fan, saw it & told us it was repetitive, boring & not to bother. So we haven't seen it yet. I liked Blair Witch & Cloverfield (although the shaky camera in Cloverfield made me sick to my stomach) but if it's repetitive, I don't care for that.

Will watch it this weekend for surely. I like horror movies. Not that i am macho or something, just want to experience how much a movie can scare you. I have watched many and will watch this one too.

Agreed!! I was so bored and kept looking at my watch because it was SO boring!! At least the pretzel w/cheese was good

I thought it would be like Signs, and it sort of is, but not as well done. With Signs you were scared because you heard things and saw little things here and there....when the camera would show at night I would be waiting for something very small to happen where the action wasn't so it would freak you out and it didn't. I was disappointed especially seeing the great comments/ratings of the film and taking two nights to finally see it because it was sold out. Disappointed.

Yes and it isn't scary. It startles you at times, but it's extremely acted out.
