DH & I went to see this yesterday. It had a few good parts & a few good actors, but all in all it moved slowly, was not very believable & did not have enough overall in entertainment points. IMO, it's a renter, at best. BUMMER, it looked like it was going to be SO good!

Is that from the same guy who did "The Village" & "The 6th Sense"? I saw the movie poster for it last week & if it's the one I think it is, from that M. Night Longlastnameguy, I'm not surprised. His stuff seems to get a lot of hype & is then underwhelming.

Yeah, M. Night will probably never match "The Sixth Sense" again. It was just so awesome. "The Village" was not bad, but nothing like "The Sixth Sense".

I did put it on Netflix already as I want to see it, but there are others I want to see in the theater more. With kids you have to be picky!

This is sooo true. My mom was visiting and we just saw 'you me and dupree.' The last movie we saw before that was Fun with Dick and Jane. ACK. I wish we could get out more.

In some ways this movie reminded me of The Ring. That scary lady with the wet hair coming out of the well...
I didnt see the movie but from watching the advertisements on tv thats what I think.

M. Night Shyamalan, bummer I don't like horror but like suspense. Oh well, probably still watch it, I've wasted more time on worse movies.

It wasn't scarey - just jumpy in one or two parts. I was also disapointed... I'm glad I saw it, but it was nothing like what I hoped it might be.
