These are the movies we watched this week:

The Weather Man - little slow, but ok
Date Movie - few laughs but not my kind of movie
The Hills Have Eyes - if you like scary movies, it's pretty good
The Family Stone - LOVED this movie. Didn't think i would. Diane Keaton is in it and she always plays the goody-goody mom but she was good in this movie.

We watched 16 Blocks with Bruce Willis a couple of weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised. Didn't think I'd like it at all. Worth watching once though.

Two older movies I saw and liked were:

The Island (Scarlett Johansen and Ewan McGregor) and

Cinderella Man (Russell Crowe and Renee Zellweger) - it's an excellent example of commitment between a husband and wife and it's a boxing movie so guys will like it too!

excellent movies: V for Vendetta, Munich, Sideways (great movie), History of Violence, Instinct (Anthony Hopkins & Cuba Gooding Jr), BASIC, Hero, House of Flying Daggers, American History X (graphic but good), A Beautiful Mind, Cold Mountain, Collateral (Jamie Foxx, Tom Cruise), The Client, Dead Man Walking, Desperado, Original Sin, Domino, Double Jeopardy, High Crimes, Fallen, A Few Good Men, From Hell, Gladiator, Heat (This was our very first Netflix movie EVER! :D), The Last Samurai, Lost in Translation, Man on Fire, Manchurian Candidate, Mrs Henderson Presents (marketed as comedy, but is more drama really), The Negotiator (Kevin Spacey, Samuel L Jackson), Sin City, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest, Primal Fear (good twist at the end), Ray, The Recruit, Road to Perdition, The Rock, Scent of a Woman, Shawshank Redemption, Sling Blade, Taking Lives, Training Day...
DH and I do netflix too, and we watch a lot of tv series on it, as we don't have HBO. Plus we've been out of the loop on some shows, and it's nice to watch them in their entirety whenever it's convenient for us. Ones we love: Sopranos, Arrested Development (comedy, but excellent!), Deadwood, LOST.. I'm sure there are more, but that's a start :D Hope you find a REALLY good movie to watch!

Some recent ones I've rented and I think are good and are action/drama/funny are Sahara, After the sunset , failure to launch,

Cold mountain was ok, sad

Notebook is super high on my list it's very good.

Have you seen big fish? It's excellent and an older title.

Hitchhikers guide to the galexy. Don't bother! I fell asleep and couldn't take
watching another minute! lol

The pacifier was funny in a kid sort of way dh and I liked it.

40 yr old virgin waste of time for me.

Cheaper by the dozen 2 was just ok.

Robots a kids movie was pretty good, our girls liked it.

Pink panther was a waste of time and I wouldn't let our youngest watch it. Too many sexual undertones with Steve martin.

at the theater we have seen click recently and that was good.

Hope that helps some

Last night I watched Pretty Persuasion with Evan Rachel Wood. It was a dark comedy I dont want to say it was like Heathers but had the darkness! Kept my attention, so if you like out of the box movies this is a good one.
