Remember watching Nightmare on Elm Street and being scared to death. Now I watch it and laugh.

The Exorcist always scares me.

The first Saw was disturbing. It's been a long time since I've yelled at the tv like I did at the end of this one.

The Exorcist, The Shining...

The Ring (first one) really scared me.

I like the Saw movies, they are more gorey than scary tho.

The remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre was scary, dh and I saw that in the theater and jumped quite often.

As a kid I was so frightened by "Chilldren Of The Corn" I still to this day will not watch it. Though my husband saud it's just corny. i don't care for scareey movies. Besides the fact, I am up all night listening to every noise of the house. It just seems a little disturbing to be entertained by pain and fear. My dh likes them! But he doesn't get to watch any cause of me!

Oh i think "The Exorcist" is the scariest movie of all times.

The "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake is pretty frightening too. It seems like it's on late at night alot and i can't seem to turn away. Hahaha!!!

I remember as a kid thinking "Salems Lot" was just so scary.....Then i watched it a couple years ago and it was very corny.

I hated the girl in "The Ring"...freaky!!!

I have seen alot of scarey movies but I think the one that sticks in my mind as the most scarey is "Amityville Horror" - the original one.
A close 2nd would be the latest "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" that came out this past fall.

For me it has to be hands down Ring. It freaks me out just typing the name of it and I can picture the girl crawling out of the TV set. I thought Saw was scary whily watching it, but I can sit thru it again and not get scared but with Ring I CANNOT sit thru it again. Everytime I see in on the movie channels while flipping channels, I get the creapy jibbies.

I remember when the Texas Chainsaw Massacre came out years ago. I hadn't seen it, but all my friends had and told me about it. That same weekend my neighbors were having a big outdoor party and my parents and I were there. My mom sent me across the field to let our dog out. It was dark out so I was a little nervous anyway. I got to my house and saw someone standing with a mask and bloody apron trying to start a chainsaw by my garage!!!!!!!!! My legs turned to jelly and I was too scared to scream. I stumbled up our steps and scraped my knees. I locked all the doors and hid in the shower for the longest time. I heard screaming from the party next door. I knew my parents were there so I crawled out of my house and across the field on my hands and knees. By the time I got there everyone was laughing. Apparently someone thought it would be funny to dress up like the movie charactor and take the chain off a chainsaw and chase people around. So I guess I have to pick that movie, even though I didn't actually see it.

Exorcist. My parents took me to this when I was a kid at the drive in. Being raised Catholic, it completely freaks me out to this day. When that movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose came out, I couldn't even watch the previews for it.

The Ring. OMG. Yes, that girl freaked me out like nobody's business. My daughter used to come and stand by my bed at night and look just like that. After a few times where I literally screamed as loud as I could because she scared the poop out of me, she doesn't wake me up any more. She wakes up dad!

My husband and I recently rented The Descent about some ladies who go exploring in a cave. That was really, really creepy.
