That is not reading children's books to your children??

Since my kids are older, they read on their own...so we like to do a Family Read a Book time....we all sit in the same room and we all have our own book. We don't do this everyday, by any means.....but we do it on the weekends when they are home. I think it helps to lead by example....and I get to read what I want to read...LOL.

Of course, I find others times to read "my books" as well.

The only time I get a chance these days is when nursing baby to sleep for nap and bedtime, after reading to her. But I take full advantage of it!!!!

I read the newspaper every morning and then read at night about 4 nights a week.
I always carry a book with me in case I have a spare 10 min of waiting.

Daily...I always am reading a book. I also LOVE magazines. It's an addiction, I get a TON and love reading them. So I read probably one or two a day. With the kids practices, and killing time here and there in the car, it's not hard for me to get thru them. I donate some to the faculty lounge at our kids school when I'm done reading them. I get my nails done every week and I always take a few of my magazines to read at the salon and then I just leave them behind for someone else to read.

That book is great! L.OL! I bought it when my kids started asking me a lot of questions. I'm Catholic but to tell you the truth, I didn't really know the specific reasons why we do a lot of things that we do as Catholics. It's been a good resource for us.
