Is coming to CT in August. Anyone know how to get a presale ticket code without joining the fan club? With the cost of concert tickets these days, joining a fan club for a code seems very silly to me. Ive tried doing some searches but am not coming up with anything.

Where is he playing?? You might be able to call the concert venue yourself and find out if there is a way to get a discount.

Is he playing at Mohegan?? If you know anyone there, you can ask they to help you get some discounted tickets. My mom's boyfriend works there and he helps us out all the time.

Yup - he's playing at Mohegan. I dont know anyone that works there, we're a little over an hour away from there. I saw on their site that they have the right to only sell tickets to those that have Mohegan points first - which we dont have - dont gamble.

Yup they do that all the time, they sell tickets to the player's club people first. MOST likely, they won't sell out with the player's club. I can keep an ear out and lyk if I hear anything about it. I know sometimes John gets tickets for free, and he gives them to my mom. Depends on the show and how much they think it will sell out.

Thanks! I remembered a friend of mine is big into mohegan sun (a frequent flyer as I call them) and she said if she gets tickets I can have them - but she's not sure if she'll get them for that show - like you said, depends on how they think it will sell.

Ever seen a show there? Seats good no matter where you sit? We've never been.

Check to see if it's sponsored by Best Buy, dh gets emails for advance ticket sales when concerts are sponsored by BB, not sure if it's b/c he has a BB cc or their rewards card or what, I'll have to ask him.
