I am so creaped out by Ben. He is just evil. Last nights episode was a definate OMG one!! When Locke's dad pushed him out the window. I was expecting it, but was still a little stunned. And the way Ben manipulated Locke into destorying the sub, all I can liken him to is David Koresh or Hitler. He's able to talk people into anything, make them do anything I knew there had to be another way off the island, when Locke's dad showed up that confirmed it. Again, how did Ben manage that one? How did he find him and get him there so fast?

Yes, I knew he was going to be pushed, but the way they did it was REALLY sort of an OMG moment. It was like, pow and then a commercial. It was one of the better episodes!

I am curious to see next week when it looks like somebody is working for the Others. Interesting. . .

I want to see Su (is that her name?) punsh Sawyer. That will be classic!

Ah I missed it. We had baseball practice and I forgot to set the recorder. Can someone please fill me in on what happened.

Well, Jack was hanging out with the Others, but they were also filming everything he did so he was playing along. Kate and Sayeed got captured. John, meanwhile, went to Ben's to find the submarine and blow it up. Alex was with Ben and went to get Sayeed's pack (which he did not confiscate because he - Ben - knew Locke would blow it up). When Sayeed saw Alex, he called to her, she asked how he knew her name and he said because you look like your mother. She said her mother was dead and he responded, "I am sure that is what they told you." Then he was pistol whipped.

Locke was the back story. A young man came to see him (Locke was suffering from depression and could not keep a job after his dad stole his kidney). The man had found out the real name of his mother's new fiance in a whirlwind romance. He also discovered that Locke had given the man a kidney and was hoping he would tell him the fiance (Locke's dad) was an ok guy after all because his gut was telling him he wasn't. Locke said it was an anonymous donor situation. THEN, Locke goes to see his dad and tells him to break it off with the women or he will tell everything. He goes back to his apartment where the police were waiting for him wondering if he knew this kid. He said, "No, why?" They told him he was dead and his name and number was in his pocket! So, Locke heads back to Daddy's new place (in a nice high rise) and confronts him about killing the kid. He goes to call the kid's mother and Daddy pushes him out the window (8 floors up).

That is how Locke broke his back and ended up in the wheelchair. Daddy got away before the police could find him. He was last seen in Mexico.

Kate is held in a poolhall. Jack goes to see her and says they are letting him and Juliette go via submarine tomorrow morning. He goes up real close to her and says, "I WILL come back for you." Meanwhile, Locke blows up the sub. As they are taking Jack and Juliette to the sub, Locke is walking back and it blows up. They are holding Locke, Ben goes to see him and tells him he wants to show him what appeared in the magic box. (Earlier in a conversation with Ben, Ben was talking about this box on the island where you can wish something to appear and then it will. Locke told him to wish a new submarine up after he blew his up.)

So, he takes him to a door and inside the door is Locke's Daddy tied up in a chair looking pretty darn scared when Locke comes in the room! The End

That was it in a nutshell. There was a lot of conversation with Locke and Ben that will be important later. It had to do with Locke being "one with the island" and understanding it. The others were there willingly, supposedly, but had to feel they could get away via sub anytime they wanted. Ben wanted them to be stuck (he was born on the island, by the way) so sort of let Locke blow it up. He referred to Locke's father, we know now, as "the man from Tallahassee". Don't know if that will be important. Locke called Ben a hypocrite because he was in a wheelchair, living with electricity instead of relying on the island and that was WHY he was still in the wheelchair while Locke was healed. Or something like that. I think that wil be relevant later.

I don't really like Locke... at all. And although I thought last night was interesting, I am so sick of all the twists and turns... the news ones I mean. I wish they would solve more old ones. Now Locke's father is there?! How did that happen

I love Locke! He is one of the more interesting characters! Plus, the fact they named him "John Locke" I am sure plays a pivotal role in it, too. I love the fact they threw "Rousseau" in there, too - it just isn't the exact name "Danielle" instead of "Jean Jacques", but she is supposed to be French. Very interesting. Sort of a "Lord of the Flies" twist in my opinion.

WOW Claire you are great. Thank you for typeing that all out. Man it sounds like a great show. At least next week I will not be completely lost -- oh wait a minute I am always lost when watching this show even with seeing it every week. But the suspense is great with it. Thanks again.

You're welcome. It was one of the best episodes all season in my opinion. Much better than the Desmond episode. That left me sort of angry.
