So You Think U Can Dance/ Best couples dances of the seaon?

Well I am bored and I can't wait for the results show tonight.

I love how they always open up with a fun different dance style on result night.

I love when they did 'thriller' like dance and was very dark and I have watched it sooo many times on DVR. (The one wear there look like they are zombies or something).

As far as the couple dances, I have a few that really stick out in my mind. Does anybody else have any couple dances that really stick out for them?
Luckly I have most of them on DVR and I tend to re-watch certain dances over and over again.

1. Heidi and Travis contemporary dance (the one with using the bench as a main prop) I was really touching and very different.

2. Allison and Ivan contemporary dance to the song 'why' by Annie L. (it had so much emotion and feeling to it, I just loved it!)

3. Aliision and Ivan hip hop dance to the song ' Sexy Love' by Ne-o (sp?) (It was the one with the umbrellas). I seriously might try to learn that dance at home, I just love it!:D

I liked the dance that Heidi & Travis did too. My favorite was the fast Mambo that Benji & Heidi did! They are both just such great personalities. I find myself smiling whenever they are dancing & I just loved seeing them together.

The Allison/Ivan contemporary almost made me cry.

Benji and Heida are my faves.:D

I liked these couple dances as well. I also liked the contemporary that Allison did with Ryan where they were in black with the eye patches. That was some great choreography. At first I didn't care for Mia's choreography, but now it's grown on me and I can recognize it even before they say who did the dance (I minored in dance in college, so maybe that's why - just have the eye for it).
I couldn't believe when Allison got voted off, but these are not necessarily dance critics who are doing the voting, obviously. Allison is an incredible dancer and will be a contender anyway as far as her career goes.
Right now, I'm rooting for Benjy. He's such a terrific performer and so much fun to watch. All the others, especially Ryan, are starting to do dances that all look the same on their own. The couples' dances weren't especially great this week.

I really liked the dance they started the result show this week. I always watch and think why couldn't i have been into dance when i was a kid. It looks sooooooo fun.

Dh and i really like Benji. I love all his solo dances and he brings so much to the couples dances.

I think that Travis might win the entire show though. He has that dance style that will fit right in with the whole Celine Dion show.

I love Travis, I want him to win - he's adorable too. The "afro-pop" dance that travis and heidi did was amazing!!! I love that cherography, and cherographer. He did Britney spear's video "I'm a slave 4 u" - It's gorgous movement, makes you riled up a little bit too.

So Travis was in Britney Spear's slave for you video? If so, what part of it, what does he look like? i am really curious and I kind think Travis is cute!

Did anyone see the results show tonight? When I turned on TV tonite to watch there was some football!!!! game on, for crying out loud it's only August, isn't it a little early even for the pre-season?! Anyway I love Benjy and Travis. I have loved Donyell in the past but lately I don't think she's that great. Heidi hasn't been my favorite but she is growing on me. Somebody please tell me the results!

DON'T PANIC. The result show is next wednesday 8/7c for two whole hours.
Yes, i was mad that dumb football was on too.
So, now we have to week almost a week for the results. I hope Travis wins, I voted for him 15 times:D :D :D

HprButtercup, I don't think Travis was in that video. I think what she meant was that Shane Sparks choreographed it. He choreographs a lot of hip hop dance for music videos. He actually has a couple of videos called Learn to Hip Hop. I remembered him when I saw him on the show from seeing an informercial for those videos.

I like all the finalists who are left. My favorite, though, is Benji. As I said before, he is just a fantastic performer and seems so versatile. I don't know if he'll win, but even if he doesn't, he will have a great dance career. I looked him up on Wikipedia, and he's won all sorts of awards in ballroom dance.

I want to go see them on tour SO badly, but unfortunately, the exact date that they will be in my area, my friend is getting married and I am one of her bridesmaids. Figures!! Oh, well. Maybe next time!!
