Ok, it was not Academy Award material, but if you loved the 80s, this movie was HYSTERICAL! My dh even liked it! It was really funny and cute and I would highly recommend it.

Not only is it a comedy about the 80s, it really pokes fun on the Shakira, Brittany, Christina craze.

Check it out!

Thank you, Claire. I'm not a huge fan of those two, but it did look cute. I think I'll rent i next time 'round.

Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore are in it. I thought it was an odd pairing, but they made it work.

Thank you! This was one of those 'wait and see' movies for us...I wouldn't go see it in the theatres, and I was thinking about renting it if nothing else was on b/c some of the previews for it looked funny. Maybe this weekend!

I was wondering about it too. We'll probably have to get it on Netflix when it's out.

I didn't really like it that well. It was one of those movies I wished I had rented before going ahead and buying it. But in my defense I bought two movies and got one for free at our local movie rental store. They didn't have a whole lot to choose from. I basically got three dvds for twenty dollars. Not bad.

Thanks for the review. I had it in my hands on Friday but put it back because I kept thinking it by like American Dreamz which was one of the worst movies I have ever watched.
